How I Can Help
Organizations rarely experience people challenges in isolation.
A team that isn’t working well together may also be navigating unclear roles, competing priorities, leadership changes, or a structure that no longer fits the work. A transformation may look straightforward on paper while creating very different realities across the organization. And sometimes there’s simply a sense that things aren’t working as well as they could.
I help leaders step back, understand what’s really happening, and determine where to focus.
That may mean solving a defined organizational challenge, stepping in as an experienced HR leader for a period of time, or serving as a strategic thought partner as you navigate decisions along the way.
Engagement Overview
-
I partner with leaders on people, team, and organizational challenges that benefit from an experienced outside perspective. Sometimes the issue is already clear. Other times, understanding what’s really happening is the first part of the work.
Depending on the need, our work might include organizational and team effectiveness, people strategy, organizational design and ways of working, leadership alignment, culture and employee experience, organizational change, or facilitated leadership and team sessions.
Engagements are shaped around the challenge rather than a predetermined package—bringing the right combination of diagnosis, facilitation, design, and implementation support to help move the work forward.
-
Periods of growth, transition, or change can create a need for senior people leadership before—or instead of—adding a permanent role.
I can step into an organization for a defined period to lead or support the people agenda, partner with senior leaders, build capability, and help navigate the organizational and leadership challenges that come with change.
The role and level of involvement are shaped around what the organization actually needs, from focused senior leadership support to a more embedded fractional or interim HR leadership role.
-
Some challenges don’t require a consulting project or an embedded leader. They require someone you trust to think alongside you.
I work with executives, business leaders, and HR leaders as a strategic advisor on people, organization, leadership, and change—bringing an outside perspective, asking questions, challenging assumptions, and offering practical advice when useful.
Advisory relationships can provide continuity as situations evolve, giving leaders a place to work through decisions before they become actions.
How I Work
Start With Curiosity
Before jumping to solutions, I want to understand the business, the people, and the context around the challenge.
That means asking questions, listening across perspectives, and looking for connections between strategy, structure, leadership, team dynamics, communication, and the everyday experience of getting work done.
Practical Actions
From there, we focus on practical action—working collaboratively, testing what makes sense in your environment, learning as we go, and building solutions that your leaders and teams can ultimately own.
I don’t believe in delivering reports that will sit on shelves. My goal is to help your organization deliver the best results through the most motivated people.
Leverage Bright Spots
I start with what's working, not what's broken. Even in complicated organizations, there are teams, relationships, or ways of working that offer clues about what’s possible.
Identifying and leveraging bright spots creates energy and momentum instead of defensiveness—and it's more effective than simply importing practices from other organizations.
A Danish-Inspired Lens
My work is also informed by a framework I call the Five Hygge Culture Anchors—
Trust & Transparency, Safety & Support, Clarity & Autonomy, Collaboration & Flow, and Leadership & Change.
Developed from my experience across consulting and HR leadership and a decade living and working in Denmark, these anchors provide another lens for noticing the conditions that shape how people work together and where opportunities may exist.
They inform how I ask questions and see patterns without prescribing a single answer for every organization.

Let’s Talk
You don’t need to know exactly what kind of support you need before we talk.
Tell me what’s happening—what’s changing, where you’re getting stuck, or what you’re trying to accomplish—and we can start there.
We’ll talk about the situation, what would be most helpful, and what moving forward could look like.
